Milestone Pictures!

First year of swimming lessons and he had professional pics underwater! love them! (I know, I have posted so many swimming pics but I really had to show these too.) It is so amazing how fast children grow and learn so many things. Easton started out this year screaming at every lesson and now he is loving the water and is really doing good in the water. I am so excited about this milestone and also for the many more to come. We are sad that swimming lessons has come to an end. We are already looking forward to next years lessons. Jaxon will then be old enough to join in the fun. In the meantime we will be making many trips to the indoor pool this coming fall and winter.

Prince Charming

We almost had another Prince Charming at our house today. (I say another because my hubby is my prince charming,) so if Prince Charming did magically appear after Easton almost kissed Mr, Kermit then I would have to send him my sisters way. lol
Easton experienced seeing his first Kermit the Frog today! He loved to look but didn't want to touch. After he warmed up to Mr. Kermit he did put his finger on his belly but pulled it away really fast and had a disgusted look on his face. Then he got really brave and was about to give him a kiss but chickened out. I could tell he really wanted to. After we set Mr. Kermit free Easton was so sad and wanted him to come back and play some more. He kept saying mommy go get Kermit please! Please go catch him! Someday Easton will be the one catching the frog and holding them, then he will be the one to get peed on. Every time I have ever held a frog they always pee on me. yuck. It really was fun to see his reaction though!

We are so Blessed!!

We just found out some WONDERFUL NEWS!!! We came home from church on Sunday and Zac asked me what our plans were for our anniversary this year. I told him that I hadn't really thought about it yet but we should plan something fun. He handed me a piece of paper and said "why don't we make this our itinerary this year" I was thinking to myself, "what did you do?" I was thinking that he booked us a cruise or that he made arrangements to go somewhere on a trip. I was really excited for whatever it was that I was about to read. It wasn't anything that I was expecting. I was so SHOCKED because we have been waiting for 4 years for this news to come our way. I didn't think it was ever going to happen. In fact I stopped thinking about it. Well some of you already know but for those that don't..... We are finally going to the Temple to be sealed as a family!!!! We have crossed so many obstacle to get to this point which has mostly been patience. When we first submitted the paper work 3 years ago the stake President told us to be patient because sometimes it takes up to 5 years to get a clearance to go to the temple. It will be so great to finally be sealed in the temple. It was so cute because we were clapping and jumping up and down and Easton joined in. We told him that we were going to the temple and he said "yeah the temple!" It is going to be the most wonderful day ever!

Family time

We went to sandhallow swimming pool on tuesday for a couple hours. Easton didn't have swimming lessons this week so his teacher said to take him as much as possible. Well, we made it once this week. He was so wild and loved just going underwater and trying to swim. It kind of scared me because he just has no fear. We took him down the big slide over and over and over. The first thing that would come out of his mouth when we reached the bottom was "again" Zac and I took turns taking him. It was so nice to go do something as a family. I feel bad because Zac just finished working a 24 hour shift and he had to go back that night for another 24 hour shift. He is such a hard worker and I love him so much!
Its amazing how Jaxon and Easton are so different. Easton is so hyper and always so busy and has been that way from day 1. Jaxon is so easy going and just goes with the flow. He is always content with whatever is going on. He does cry but he really has been such a great baby. I love these pictures with him lying on his back. He stayed like that for quite a while. He also loves to be in his floaty. Last time I took the boys swimming he fell asleep. I love these two little boys so much, they are definitely my joy in life!

I am so proud of you Easton

GOOD JOB EASTON!!! Easton did so good today at swimming lessons. I was afraid that going back today, we would be starting all over with the crying and screaming (sense he had 3 days off). I was wrong. Easton did so good today. He had a smile on his face the entire time. He wanted it to be his turn every turn. Even when the other little boy in his class was swimming he thought he needed to be out there too. He scared me a few times as he just took off swimming underwater. I am so glad that he has built up trust with Kristen and is starting to show some progress. He still is not too sure about floating on his back but we are slowly working on that. My little boy is a fish! I am so proud of him!

Swimming Lessons

I am so glad to have found out about putting Easton in swimming lessons. Kristen teaches lessons in her pool at her house and its great! (Thank you Holly) Today was his 3rd day and did really well compared to the last couple days. The
first day He cried and cried and I thought "is this really worth it" but today he only cried once and stayed in the water the entire time. Kristen said that most kids his age cry for about the first week (sad). She is really good with him and I hope that this will be a good experience for Easton. He loves the water and it will be good for him to learn how to swim.
